Hello there! Howdy doo? My name is Jessica Cowen, but you can just call me Jess.

I am simply a gal from Wyoming with a massive love for all things theatre, music, art, and illustrations.

For more than a decade now, I have participated in theatre and began my roots in good ol’ Casper Wyoming. Casper Children’s Theatre served as my second home as a child until I went to Natrona County High School. There, I joined the theatre department and sang in NC’s choir, Chorale, all four years and Vocal Jazz my Sophomore year through Senior year. Some of my favorite roles I played in high school were Molly Aster (Peter and the Starcatcher), Sister Mary Robert (Sister Act), Laurey Williams (Oklahoma!), and Ariel (The Little Mermaid).

In 2021, I enrolled at Casper College and was in a plethora of shows there such as Mamma Mia (Donna Understudy/ Ensemble), Narnia: the Musical (The White Witch), Noises Off! (Belinda Blaire), Rogers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella (The Fairygodmother), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Helena). I graduated with my Associates as a Musical Theatre Performance major in 2023.

That same fall, I moved to Laramie with my dearest pals and stumbled upon Relative Theatrics. I debuted in the company in their production of Exit Pursued by a Bear as the Jimmy Carter enthusiast, Nan Carter, and instantly fell in love with them. Now, I am the Marketing and Communications Manger there!

This year, I transferred to University of Wyoming and have taken a couple of musical theatre and art classes. I also had the privledge to be the understudy for both Natalie and Diana Goodman in Next to Normal, a show I have held near and dear to my heart since my teen days. Not only that, but I was honored to perform for one night as Natalie!

None of my dreams would have been possible without the unconditional support and love from my mom and dad, the rest of my family, my freinds, my past mentors and instructors, and my sweet doggos, Bo Bo and Chewy!
